Equipment Engineer

Isovolta is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining various types of equipment used in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing efficiency, safety, and productivity across our operations. If you have a passion for automation, machine design, and hands-on problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.Essential Functions/Major Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify equipment improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions.Design and modify equipment to optimize performance, reliability, and safety.Create detailed schematics, technical drawings, and specifications for new equipment or modifications.Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed equipment projects.Implement automation solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual labor.Secondary Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials for equipment upgrades.Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance schedules, user manuals, and training materials.Train operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.Job Performs duties with minimal supervision, operate from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies, and procedures.Mistakes/errors may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations, and/or damage to product, all of which can have negative financial implications for the organization.Interpersonal Have internal and external contacts. The most common internal contacts are with the Technology Manager, Maintenance Staff, Production Staff, Production Supervisor, Quality Assurance. External contacts include outside suppliers, fabricators, contractors, consultants and others.Education and/or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in equipment design, automation, and machine improvement projectsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and industry standards Recommended Skills Automation Business Process Models Customer Relationship Management Electrical Engineering Finance Maintenance Apply to this job.
